Welcome to my journey from my first inklings toward international nursing to my adventures on the continent of Africa! My name is Lena and I started my Bachelor of Science in Nursing program in September of 2016. It has been a challenging, but rewarding journey through school and now I am about to embark on my biggest adventure yet: to finish my degree with an internship in Ghana, West Africa this September to December 2019.

The purpose of this blog is to engage readers from a variety of interests to my experiences. This may mean that certain writings may be of keener interest to you than others. I would also just like to clarify that my perspective of my own experience is mine and not necessarily reflective of my colleagues or instructional faculty.
