How to Spell Love

“Love is spelled t-i-m-e.” (Pastor Godfrey)

This morning granted us the amazing opportunity to join Ghanaian believers in worship to God and fellowship. It was this sheltered girl’s first time in an international worship service and I came away so awed by the glory given to our Heavenly Father.

Pastor Godfrey’s sermon on Luke 10: 19-26 was such a timely Truth as God has been convicting me of more and more areas of selfishness. Love gives all, despite every potential harm that could come as a result. I desire this season in Ghana to be one of embracing change and a softening of my heart to others. A theme of ‘love spells t-i-m-e.’

I just want to make a quick tribute to my God-ordained and incredible roommate Kandace. Wow! He sure knew what He was doing when He places us in the same hostel room. She is such a picture of constant encouragement, unwavering dedication, and unconditional love. There’s been a number of challenges for her and she still wakes up with that perpetual smile and “how are you.” She goes to great lengths to show love and care to others. ‘Love is spelled t-i-m-e.’

P. S. Today is brought to by overwhelming homework and the world’s best nuts (You have to try them!)
